A fire strategy provides the starting point. Assurance examines how its intentions are carried through the information and work produced by the wider project team.

Infra Fire Safety Ltd can review a focused package or provide support across several project stages. We agree the documents, review criteria and output at the outset, so the team understands what has been checked and what remains to be resolved.

Where we can provide assurance

• Design information: examine drawings and specifications against the fire strategy, identifying gaps and coordination questions for the design team.
• Contractor submissions: review proposed details, product information and supporting evidence against the intended application and project requirements.
• Site inspections: observe accessible work at agreed stages, record findings and raise departures from the fire strategy for resolution.
• Independent strategy reviews: examine another consultant’s fire strategy, including its assumptions, supporting reasoning and interfaces with the design.

Clear findings for the project team.

Review comments should identify the issue, its basis and the response or evidence needed. The agreed process can include reviewing the team’s responses and recording the status of outstanding points.

The review scope and site-access limitations are recorded alongside the findings. Assurance supports the project’s decision-making and review arrangements; it does not guarantee regulatory approval or certify work outside the agreed inspection scope.
